"Plight of Zimbabwe's Captured Baby Elephants" Elephants DC, March 9, 2015
As of March 2015, the United States has received under cover photos of around 80 four year-old elephants being orphaned and detained in Zimbabwe. Their destination is yet unknown, but it is most likely that they will be shipped to China in the near future in order to satisfy an ivory and circus demand.

He Took His Skin Off For Me (2014)
Cover Shot of a Short Film by Ben Aston
The image shows that any relationship, romantic or otherwise, is very tough to maintain if it is built upon a foundation of sacrifice. It is human nature to search for the easiest way out, the path of least resistance. If something like lack of skin or some other detraction starts to cause problems, the argument of this image seems to be that even of the strongest of relationships may be doomed.
Elderly Person Struggles to Connect
The two ladies/people in the forefront are laughing and having a good time. The older person in the back seems very sullen. Even though the two people in the forefront take up more of the picture, they are not in focus. The focus is actually on the elderly person in the back.
The message of this photo is that elderly people were struggling financially and socially at that time and no one had a good way to deal with it. It appears that most people were ignoring the problem completely.
The pesticides sprayed on soybean fields in Argentina are causing severe health problems and birth defects. The author has brought awareness of the situation to the world by taking these pictures and by starting a campaign called Seeds for Life.
Homeless Man in Front of Calvin Klein
Image
Statement: This image reminds us about the things we take for granted. For many of us, buying high-end undergarments is a normalcy. We forget that we spend so much money on things that could be going to better causes. The irony in this image is incredible: a homeless man is sitting in front of a window to a store that is displaying high end fashionable undergarments. The price that we are paying for fashion that can’t even be seen could be saving this man’s life.
