Brian Scott Ostrom, having served four years as a reconnaissance marine and having deployed to Iraq twice, returned home only to become one of many that suffer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or major depression. The effects of PTSD and/or depression after being discharged begin to take over these people's lives, from locating and retaining employment to maintaining healthy relationships. This photo depicts the struggle that many face after serving for one's country and how haunting memories of his or her service can continue to consume his or her mind.
