Homeless Man in NYC

Initially the viewer looks at the image and sees the familiar sight of a homeless man on the streets. I hope that immediately they start forming their own judgements and criticism, but to recognize that they would never verbalize what they are thinking. Lastly I want the viewer to read the caption and rethink their opinions. With only two sentences, the entire perception of this man changes instantly.
"My daughter lives in Pennsylvania. She’s working at a nursing home and studying to be an accountant. She’s my pride and joy."
"Does she know you’re homeless?"

"No, she’s got enough to worry about. I just tell her that I’m retired."
