“No one is born racist”, Todd Robinson, 1992.
This is a touching photo which offers a contrast childhood innocence in the child seeing his reflection, and the raw hate of the KKK, as the child is wearing a robe. There is also some irony because the image shows is a black police officer protecting the rights of the KKK to protest. This photo could also prove the point that no human is born as a racist.
Analysis Document
a quote from the officer:
“I didn’t even see the kid. I was just looking down to see what was bumping on my shield. And when I looked down, there was this little kid in a Klan uniform. He saw his reflection in the riot shield. He was tracing his outline. The child was oblivious to what was going on around him”.
